Spoke to Robin from Truworths Online, 31/08/20 @10:15. Due to the fact that Truworths Eastgate only has 1 item in stock (Style *** Size 36) I cannot place an order according to Company policy. Contacted Truworths Eastgate spoke to Phumeza @ 11:25. She confirmed that they have 1 item in stock. On the advice of Robin I contacted the Store Manager @ Eastgate, Norman @13:00, who informed me that they cannot process the item. The Area Manager, Raquel, is not in today. I therefore cannot discuss the proposed purchase. Truworths policy regarding online purchases is not customer friendly, taking into consideration that the Covid 19 Virus is still very much a big problem in this country. There is not any shopping centres that have a Truworths store close by to my residence.
