Bad service
In short, I bought a 3 shoe. It turned out to be small, I took it back for a size 4. I didn't even fit, I was sure it will do. When I tried to wear it for work, my feet kept slipping in & out. I realised a size 3 n a half was ideal. Truworths doesn't have the sizes I had discarded the box with the second return as I was sure they would fit. Now I'm told I can't return them. How many people but shoes & don't want the boxes? I have also done this. Why must I be punished so severely? What if they were a gift? Why not penalize for the box then? Flexibility with customer service is a must. So many stores have the flexibility! I cannot have wasted money on something I can't wear. Please advise urgently as I am not prepared for this *******. And when you buy, they don't even tell you conditions of return. I cannot be forced to buy shoes I don't like either just for the sake of a damn box. Yes, lesson Learnt but the punishment cannot be so severe!

We however wish to advise that one of the conditions of our returns policy is that merchandise may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase provided that, the merchandise had not been worn or used and is returned in its original condition and packaging.
This policy is in place for our customers to be aware that we go through great lengths to ensure that the item they purchase off our shelves is in perfect condition, has not been worn or used and remains current with the latest fashion trends.
Following our telephonic conversation we brought this matter to the attention of the Area Manager of the store.
