bad service
bought new Adidas takkies at truworths melrose arch, wore them once and found that the size was smaller than what was written on the box. now they won't take them back saying I fitted them in the store and the manufacture insist its the right size

We have been in contact with management at the relevant store, who informed us that your return could not be authorised as it did not comply with the terms and conditions of our Returns Policy.
We confirm that the shoes in question were assessed in store, and then subsequently sent to our Quality Assurance Department for further evaluation. The returns request was however declined, as no defect was found on the shoes, and it was thereafter returned back to the store.
Management at the respective store have confirmed that a credit or refund could not be approved, as the shoes were not resalable Further to this, you were also advised to collect the shoes from the store at your earliest convenience.
We acknowledge your frustration; however trust that you are able to accept our stance in this regard.
