Bad Service

Last week Saturday i went to the Truworths Promenade Brach out in Mitchell's Plain, their was an item on sale and the amount on the tag of this items had the figure written on their at R130-00.

After queuing for approximately 45 min i asked a fellow patron to purhase the item cash as could not stand their any longer, none the less i get calles and told their s an error and the actual selling price is R250-00.

The store manager Alfreda then called the area manager Mr.Paulse explaining their loss would be R120-00 and that's too much.

As a consumer of many other retail stores if an error was made the client should not bare the brunt so i am extremely unhappy of the level of service i had received because of an error made by an employee of Truworths i am being

disadvantaged resulting in an irate client.

I am sure my experience would have very different if i had gone to another branch

Thank you for your post.

We acknowledge your frustration regarding the incident mentioned in your post.

We therefore immediately liaised with the Area and Regional Managers of the mentioned store. We were informed that the incorrect price on the garment was as a result of a human error and was the only garment of the range marked with the erroneous price.

The Area Manager has attempted to contact you to apologize for the error but was regretfully unsuccessful in his attempts. We have subsequently sent you an email requesting a suitable time for the Area Manager to contact you in this regard.

We hope to hear from you soon and apologize for any inconvenience or frustration caused.

Yours sincerely,

Truworths Online Team

I received a call from area manager with an unfavourable response the garment cannot be sold at the stipulated price it was advetised as. So i gues Truworths has lost a valued client.
