Bad quality fabric to maximize profits of big franchise

I bought a Outback Red jacket 2 years ago, I rarely wore the jacket, and when I took it out of the closet last week I discovered it have rips,tear and split fabric all over the back of the jacket.

As I said, I almost never wore the jacket and this is not damage from wear and tear - No, this is bad cheap fabric that didn't go through proper quality control.

I visited Menlyn Truworths but they were unwilling/unable to help me. I have been a Truworths customer from 1972, and it is very disappointing to spend money on clothing that you later learn is of a very poor quality only to maximize the profits of big franchise companies
