bad online shopping - learn a thing or 2 from Foschini & Woolies etc

tried buying an item online (truworths) and when trying to select a size, next to it it says "check stock in store". after a couple of attempts, i called the online contact number. i was informed that the "check stock in store" meant the size am looking for is not available online. this meant i have to go to a particular store to get the item. i then wondered, what is the point of purchasing online, if you are only limited to what is at a particular store. this means if I stay in JHB, and an item is available in PTA, I have to find a way to get it from PTA. you should source out the item/s for the customer.

So then, why bother having an online store/option to purchase online if at the end of the day, the customer has to run around to get items. Online shopping is meant to for the most part be convenient for the customer. but seems that is not important for Truworths. Perhaps you guys need to get some tips from Foschini, Edgars and Woolworths.
