Bad customer service from the manager.

I went to purchase a perfume on the 17th of May at Truworths Wonderpark. I was assisted by this other lovely lady, she was very welcoming, patient and kind. She helped me choose a perfume for myself, she even gave me a gift for my purchase and samples to try for next time. So, she and the lady who was working on the till, explained to me that they are going to call one of the managers to authorise my free gift, so meaning they are going to ring my perfume together with my free gift. I was so excited because I never got anything for free when I buy at other stores, it was my first time buying at Truworths. They called other colleagues on the phone to ask the managers to come and authorise my gift, no one came, they asked one of the security guard to call one of the managers to come and authorise still no one came, I then asked the two ladies if their managers are sleeping because no one was coming, those two ladies calmly asked me to be more patient, they are going to call them again, then the lady who was busy ringing my items went to call someone to come and authorise. When she got back, I asked her where the managers are? She said she’s coming. When the manager arrived by the till she greeted me, but she didn’t bother apologising for making me wait for so long. I then asked her if she was sleeping, as I’ve been waiting for so long to be assisted, her response to me was “ I was fighting with a customer “. I was so surprised, how does a manager tell another customer that she was fighting with a customer?? The way she was so comfortable saying it to me! I was shocked! She was very rude, clearly this lady doesn’t have any clue about customer service. She needs more training, I’m sure I’m not the first customer to experience her bad service and bad attitude. I was so close to leaving and taking my money where I feel valued and appreciated, but then I felt very bad for the two ladies, they were very friendly. That lady should learn a thing or two from them, I still remember her very well she was very tall and had very long nails and long eye lashes. Very rude lady she doesn’t respect customers!
