Bad Customer Service at Truworths GreenAcres

I would like to say I am very disappointed of the service I received at Truworths Greenacres in Port Elizabeth.

I went to the store to buy a Clinique Foundation. I have been using your product for over a year now and recently relocated to Port Elizabeth. I know with the current pandemic there might have been a shortage in staff to assist customers. I’ve never had problems before in Durban as there always would be a consultant ob the floor to assist.

I was at the store and knowing where to get the product I took it out myself only for the “store manager” to come tell me I’m not supposed to take anything and help myself, the reason I did was there were 2 people on the make-up department.. the lady who was at the till and a lady called Lindsay who was wearing a Clarins uniform was also at the till with a customer.

That store manager was not polite nor friendly, I wasn’t going to ***** the product, she spoke to me on my way to the till to show honesty that I went there to buy. Also, she then called the 2nd lady at the till (Lindsay) and then told her to be on the floor and started pointing at me and showing her that I was helping myself so they basically stood to discuss a paying customer and that Lindsay was astonished and wondered why I did that! There was no assistance, I knew what I needed and I was going to pay for it only to be disrespected by a whole store manager! Someone you’d trust to be on top of customer service so as to lead her team wisely! It is the second time in a space of a month receiving bad service from the Port Elizabeth branches.
