Bad customer service

I went to purchase a perfume this past weekend at Truworths Wonderpark, I was assisted by this other lovely lady , she was very welcoming, patient and kind. She helped me choose a perfume for myself, she even gave me a gift for my purchase and samples to try for next time. So, she and the lady who was working on the till explained to me that they are going to call one of the managers to authorise my gift, so meaning they are going to ring the gift as well so that it can be for free, I so excited because I never got anything for free when I buy at other stores, it was my first time buying at Wonderpark. They called the other colleagues on the phone to ask the managers to help with authorise, no one came , they asked one of the security members to call for authorise again still no one came, I then asked the two ladies if the managers are sleeping because no one was coming, those two ladies calmly asked me to be more patient, they are going to call them again, and then the lady who was busy ringing my items went to call someone to come and authorise , when she got back I asked her where the managers are, she said she is coming. When the manager got there by the till she greeted me, but she didn’t bother apologising for making me wait for so long.I then asked her if she was sleeping as I’ve been waiting for so long to be assisted, her response to me was “I was fighting with a customer “ I was so surprised, how does a manager tell another customer that she was fighting with a customer? The way she was so comfortable saying that to me, really shocked me.I was very ****ed!! She was rude. Clearly this lady doesn’t have any clue about customer service. She needs more training,I’m sure I’m not the first customer to experience her bad service, I was so close to leaving the perfume and taking my money where I feel valued and appreciated, but then I felt bad for the ladies, they were friendly. I still remember her very well she had long nails and long eye lashes .
