Bad client service by truworths Fourways

I walked into the store at 7 minutes to 6 trying to buy a phone. When I got there I was introduced to Tholakele, who is apparently the person in charge of the cellphone department. I asked to check for phones and eventually made a decision as to which phone I’m buying. Then asked if I could send my proof of Address via email, for FICA purposes. I told her that I also want to close my account, she gave me lousy excuse. Saying client care doesn’t work on Saturday, which surprised me coz on their site it’s open 24/7. Tholakele just walked away and never came back. Then I realised this and walked straight to the counter. Then a lady by the till called one of the other ladies by the name of Mbali to come and assist. They kept giving me worried eyes, as they were checking the time. She then didn’t answer me but then again walked away and said they need to check if I qualify for a phone, as if I was buying it on credit. I was really offended by this comment. Then rep**** by saying that I’m actually buying it cash. Although I have an account with Truworths. She then came back from wherever she had gone to and started asking if I have an id. I said I have a copy on email and also emphasized that I have an account. They kept communicating with eyes. But they just looked at me and laughed at us. You could see they just looked for every reason not to help us. We then eventually gave up and walked away from the counter. But they kept calling us rudely, “hey, hey, hey sisi “, as they were instructing us out.

I’m really annoyed at this service. To think people worry more about knocking off than actually assisting clients. I can imagine how many people are turned back everyday because people are rushing to get home.?
