Appaling Service

I sent e mail to Truworths on 4 Oct 2016...

Manager got back to me last week... Phone me back and said that the lady at counter did not know anything.... He actually spoke to wrong product counter... (Clarins vs Clinique)

Issue still not resolved

Pathetic

On Friday 30 September 2016 I was visiting the Truworhts store in Greenacres Port Elizabeth. This was my first time visiting that specific store as I always go to the counter in Edgars Greenacres. We had a formal at work the morning at 10:30 and I was planning to do my make up at home. Due to me and our new director was running late and she was having her make up done at truworths I decided to try out the clinique service in that specific store. Gosh, I should have gone directly to Edgars. Upon enquiring the counter lady if she is willing to assist me she was incredibly blunt stating that the only way she can help me is if I made a prior appointment (there were no customers and she was standing around doing nothing) She also stated that I had to buy 2 products, one being the foundation. Since I have been using clinique for a couple of years I honestly did not mind buying the products. BUT, the way I was treated left an incredibly bitter taste in my mouth. She did in the end assist with the make up and mentioned that she was "only joking". As a paying customer I felt very offended with the treatment I received. No counter sales lady, no matter the training she received, pay grade or self confidence should ever treat a customer in such a degrading and rude matter. Even the lady that went with me (having her make-up done by another counter brand) remarked on the rude and unprofessional way I was being treated. I cannot believe that in today's economic circumstances any person selling a top class product to willingly paying customers would refuse servicing a customer if they are not busy at all.
I really need to have this followed up.
I still have the products and I do not mind keeping them as I do use them.
But NEVER EVER will I refer anybody to that clinique counter.
