Another bad service.

After laying a complain on hellopeter for Truworths Clearwater mall I was contacted by the regional manager to say that the store will sort out my query buy lo and behold I got to the store again only for the bad service to escalate. Store was offline, which is not an issue, these things happen but what really set Truworths apart from other retailers is some of their cashiers which can really spoil one's day. I got to the till only to be told that I can't use the voucher (which was the the real query at hand to begin with) and if I really want to use it I must then drive again to another branch because theirs is offline. Just imagine. It got worse, I was told that I must top up my purchase because to qualify for the voucher I must spend R1500 or more (which is ok that's the policy) and because my spend was R1499.99 I did not qualify, yup a measly one cent, which is not even on their float money, disqualified me from the voucher discount that I had to drive all the way to their store for because of another bad service from the previous week. It defies logic really, so after being told to come back again by the regional manager once again I couldn't be assisted and we are back at square one. The branch manager wasn't helpful either which is an irony because I was told but the regional manager to ask for the branch manager whenever there is an issue. Well done to Fiona though who was very helpful, the rest of the team that I dealt with could learn a lot from her on customer service. I'm at a point where after finishing paying off their account I'll just close it given this contious bad service I get from that branch.
