Account still open on ITC
i paid my account off and closed it in July 2014.<br> My ITC still shows that i have an opening balance of R500<br> Please fix this immediately as it is affecting my applications.

Thank you for your post and allowing us the opportunity to attend to this matter for you.
We have liaised with our Legal Department, and according to our records your account was paid up in June 2014. We were informed that the section indicated as opening balance, on the report, usually refers to the credit limit that was available on the account at the time. The current balance indicates the balance owing on the account.
Our records indicate that the account is listed as paid up and was removed from our database. We have attempted to contact you on the number provided in your post, but have been unsuccessful in our attempts.
Should you still wish to have this matter further investigated please forward a copy of the ITC report to ***, indicating the opening balance.
