account billing

Morning

i would like an explanation on how is the due amount calculated as i had been paying an account +- R 1000.00 monthly and previously was told my account is in advance and had to pay R 700 now i got the message that my account is due with an amount of R +- 600.00.

How come i pay over R 1000 on a credit limit of R 6000 whereas a person who has a limit of over what i have is paying less than what i paying.

i had requested my account to be on 6 months plan-i was told i am billed on a 6,9,12 months which i really don't understand. i also got the monthly statements but something doesn't add up. i spoke to Masood and Yonele who don't have the answer for me. i had never accepted limit increase as i know that i want to manage my credit correctly.

please clarify as i need the matter to be sorted. a.s.a.p.

Dineo ***

Hello ratli,

Thank you for your post and allowing us the opportunity to clarify your concerns.

We would like to advise you that the monthly installments for all our account customers are calculated on the highest balance, as agreed upon in our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Granting of Credit.

Our records indicate that your current credit limit is R7350.00, this was an automatic annul increase, which is provided to customers who have opted for this benefit and is a governed amount that can be granted as per the National Credit Act (NCA). This credit limit amount is also stated on your statements as well.

Further to this we can confirm that there are only two payment plans on your account, one being a six months interest free plan and the other twelve months interest bearing plan.

We apologize if our consultants were unable to provide you with an explanation in this regard. We will certainly bring this matter to the attention of the relevant management to address with the staff members involved.

We trust that we were able to clarify your concerns and look forward to your account being brought up to date with payment.

Kind regards,

Lynn
