Absurd mannequin policy
I went to Truworths in Braam last week and noticed a skirt on a mannequin while passing. Decided to go into the store as I really wanted the skirt. I looked for the skirt in the store and could not find my size. I checked the one on the mannequin and it was my size. I then asked the shop assistant for the skirt to be taken off as I wanted to buy it, I was in disbelief when she said \sorry we dont take the clothes off the mannequin "so then I asked: why is it on display if I am not allowed to buy it- was I then suppose to buy a bigger skirt and get it alternated? Which is what I am going to do cause I could not go through the trouble of going to another branch when my size was right there but was reserved for the mannequin.

Truworths please help me understand"
Thank you for your post. We value your feedback and the opportunity to respond.
We escalated your concerns to the manager at the relevant store to address. We were advised that the responsible consultant did most certainly not attend to you in a manner that is in line with our high level of customer service. We also established that store makes use of flexi staff members, and that it could have been one of them who attended to you on the day of your visit to the store.
According to the Store Manager, the skirt should have been removed from the mannequin when you requested it. She tried making contact with you on the number provided in your post, but established that the number does not belong to you.
We will be able to adequately address this matter for you when we receive the alternative contact number requested via e-mail. We value your support and hope to hear from you soon.
