1 person behind the till during Sassa Day Rush

Truworths Eyethu Mall Orange Farm I am shocked and extremely disappointed in the service we received yesterday especially because I am a frequent customer and have always admired your services I've even complimented you on Hello Peter. This is a SASSA Grant Week and there is always a huge crowd in the mall during a time like this. With the que being so long I was appalled to see only 1 person behind the till. A few people along with myself were extremely annoyed with the situation and when we asked if there is no way there can be another person beside him he said and I quote "Please file a complaint maybe the white people will listen to you as customers than us as Staff as we have raised this concern to them and because they don't want to pay for more people that's why I am on my own" end quote I hope that statement isn't true because we were shocked. In this economy Truworths is not exactly cheap so to hear that there is an employer that doesn't want to see more people to avoid paying them set a bad taste that doesn't suit the brand at all. Funny thing is when you go to a Truworths in suburban areas such as the glen (which i used to go to since i was in Primary School) I've always seen a fleet of people on the floor and floor and behind the tills. Why are the standards in a Location below? Why do we need to travel outside Orange Farm to get adequate service. The staff at Orange Farm Eyethu Mall have always been helpful to my mother and I. Going there has never been an eye roller. Security makes my daughter and I feel welcome but what we found out yesterday was disgusting to say the least.
