Purchased an SSL from this company a while back. This year I again paid for the annual renewal of my SSL, and they never renewed it (which I discovered when my e-commerce website started showing privacy warnings and I got logged out of my emails). I tried reissuing the certificate from their portal to load the (supposed to be new certificate) manually, but it was glitchy and slow and kept giving me errors. Their portal also only provided me with the already expired certificate's documentation, with no way to get the "renewed" one that I had paid for. I logged a ticket (with screenshots and all details) and got an absolutely lazy, one-liner response from their tech department, basically just contradicting my experience and sending me an outdated, unrelated link on how to load an SSL (which was not the issue in the first place, I have done it many times over the years and am very fami**** with the process and the backend of my website). He then proceeded to close the ticket without even confirming if the issue was resolved. I have since contacted the certificate authority directly, and they informed me that they received no renewal order from Truehost, based on my original order number. So basically, my money was *****ulently taken and no service provided. I have tried contacting their tech department again since, but they are not responding at all. I will never support or recommend this company again.
