Terrible Customer Service

I ordered a tri-suit on special, but unfortunately it didn’t fit. I contacted the store to confirm whether I had correctly understood the returns policy. I knew that sale items might not qualify for returns, but I hoped they might consider an exception, especially as I have spent more than R20,000 with this store.

What upset me most was not the policy, but the way I was spoken to. The staff member was extremely dismissive and spoke to me as though I were a child. I still wanted to continue the conversation and ask about other tri-suits I could purchase instead, but his attitude made that impossible.

I was so upset by the interaction that I burst into tears afterwards. I have supported this store many times, but this experience has honestly made me question whether I would shop there again or recommend it to others. A policy can be explained kindly and respectfully, there was no need to make a loyal customer feel this way. I can tell this was not his first time.
