Tripadvisor promote *****. They cannot be trusted!

We received a **** review on Tripadvisor for our guest house Karoo Sun in Oudtshoorn, South Africa. I informed Tripadvisor that this review is **** - I gave them all the facts to proof that this review could not be written by a guest, but most likely by one of our competitors. We had no overseas guests staying in April. It was the annual KKNK from 3-11 April. We had South African guests during this period who stay with us every year. The rest of April we were closed! Even in the 4 years that we are open we had not had any guests booked for 4 nights, staying only for one. Me and my husband manages our guesthouse ourselves - so we know EXACTLY what goes on around here. We have recently requested our local municipality to withdraw funding to the Oudtshoorn Tourism Organisation until they can proof that all of their members have municipal permission to operate their businesses. This followed after we've put this on as an agenda item at the AGM of the \Groter Oudtshoorn Toerisme"and the item was just ignored by the chairperson"
