Unlikely to ever book through Travestart again!!

My wife & I booked return tickets to Canada in November 2022, we were flying on 19 May 2023

Due to my Candian visa not being issued on time - it took more than 4 months, absolutely rediculous for a 1st world country, but that is another story - We had to cancel our tickets.

I went through the online process of cancelling and received a quote for the refund which I then accepted through the online system and was informed that it normally takes 6 to 12 weeks for refunds to reflect

After waiting 12 weeks, I started phoning Travelstart almost every week, always speaking to another agent and always being told that someone would get back to me - I am still waiting!!!

Eventually after 6 months of no joy and only after threatening legal action did Allen, from Travelstart get back to me and tell me that he would personally follow up - a week later Allan phoned me back and asked for a few more days to sort it out - and halleluja, after 6.5 months I received my refund

Allan is a superstar!! But Travelstart should really train their agents in client service - it is absolutely shocking
