Travelstart - no service, no smile!

<p>Booked a car based on certain terms and conditions. Received a booking confirmation in line with my original booking Got debited for the agreed amount. There was no mileage limit in my booking. When I collected the vehicle from Woodford Car Rental at Cape Town Airport, I received confirmation that Travelstart, resp. their car rental division Cartrawler had booked the vehicle with a limit if 100 kilometers per day and a hefty surcharge for any additional mileage. I tried in vain to get some assistance from Travelstart and Cartrawler only to be met with total indeference. All I want are the terms and conditions as originally agreed upon and confirmed by Travelstart. Bottom line, never again! Woodford told me that they already had numerous complaints about Travelstart and their affiliated company Cartrawler. Same modus operandi. Conditions get changed at random to maximise Travelstart's profit. Be warned and read other comments on hellopeter.</p>
