Travelstart - AVOID / DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

For the last 3 holidays I’ve booked I did them all on Travelstart. The first(2019) was ok albeit we had a last minute panic as that airline could not match our booking because Travelstart did not sync despite we booked 4 months in advance.

2020 we booked locally but when tried to postpone due to Covid the red tape and hassle. The airline we booked on no longer flew the route but we now got charged to change. We LOST money because of Travelstart.

So - STUPID me - we booked to fly Dec 2021 on Qatar but with T5&velS&£@t.

We paid R50 000 and i have sent more desperate log on mail mail forms and WhatsApp messages in my life. But nothing.

Until now. A week later. And less than a week until my flight should leave.

But now, fir a flight where I was PROMISED free change of date and/or route and with insurance that we paid for we are told to pay an additional R20k. That’s an additional 50% to roll a date over to who honestly knows.
