Travelstart are *******
They are absolute *******. They entice you with vouchers which appear as redeemed when you try to book but they charge the full price to your credit card. They will not answer their phones and emails. It's a mission to get a hold of them to correct the mistake so I am just going ahead and accepting my fate with the inflated price. Do yourself a huge favor and rather check both International and Domestic carrier's websites first. You will get the flights much cheaper and with less hassle than at Travelstart. The vouchers don't work so don't be fooled. There is also no encryption with the payment so you don't enter an otp or approve the transaction on your banking app. It's really unsafe and only ******** elements work this way. So that you don't get to verify amounts before authorizing the payment. They just go take it off in one shot.

04 Sept 2019, 04:33This is incorrect information. I have spoken to 2 consultants, both of whom have agreed to escalate the matter to a manager. I was promised a call back from a manager today.
I have still not been assisted and nothing has been done to reinstate my confidence in Travelstart.
It's cheaper and less hassle to book directly with the airline. You also have ************ly hidden costs for admin fees which are not declared upfront and only added on right at the end when payment is being made. R99 for international flights and R49 for domestic flights. This is a gimmick because after all the time and effort put into choosing the flights and inputting all your info, you just want it all done with and you accept the admin fee. If this fee was declared upfront and in the costs quoted, it would make a difference as to whether I would have booked through your app in the first place. Add the inflated price plus admin costs and the time, effort and stress of dealing withTravelstart and you are left out of pocket and time. Bottom line is.....be open and transparent. No one likes to deal with someone who is shady and you cannot trust. Declare all costs upfront and let the consumer then compare apples with apples.
Although I must admit that both the sales ladies I dealt with were very professional and understanding. It is not their fault that the company is ripping their clients off.
