Travelstart are *********. Stay as far away as possible.
What a ******** company. We had a trip cancelled 4 months ago and we are still waiting for a refund. All the attempts to get any information go unanswered. R30k is a huge amount of money to "hold" for 4 months. The worst part is the lack of any meaningful correspondence. I see there are hundreds of people in the same boat - all complaining of the lack of response from Travelstart.

I have checked the booking and can see that a refund was not processed, however a new refund quote was submitted.
I have since reached out to the team and requested that they action the refund which should take 3-15 days to reflect.

This has now been since November last year. How can you guys justify keeping a person's money for so long?? You have now missed out on three return tickets I would have booked with you - and at this stage am quite sure I will never use travelstart again. I will do my best to tell everyone about my experience to prevent them falling into the same trap. The Owners of Travelstart should really be held accountable for this. It's actually very, very sad. Travelstart used to be a great company but I, and thousands of other people it seems, have lost faith in you guys.

02 May 2022, 22:34What a surprise. Another month has passed and nothing has happened. I don't understand how companies can operate like this. I regret having ever dealt with Travelstart - I with this nightmare would just be over. Emails don't get rep**** to, phones don't get answered. What more can a person do?
