Travelstart and Vitality miles
Travelstart and Vitality miles - Please be aware that when you book your flight ticket with Travelstart using your Discovery Miles to pay for your ticket - Travelstart charges you an additional admin fee. This is over and above their normal fee that is much more expensive than booking your ticket directly with FlySafair.

I am really sorry that you feel that our admin Fees are exorbitant. All our fees and charges are included on the amount agreed to pay on the website, in efforts to be as transparent as possible.
Our website is a search engine which draws the fares from the various airlines systems according to the search parameters entered by the client. The fare which the client selects online is the price which the client accepts when making the booking via Travelstart.
I tried searching for your booking to have a better idea in order to provide feedback , however I cannot find any booking with your names or email address and no reference or contact number was provided.
If you would like for us to look into this for you please provide us with a reference number via private message.

With my comment I was not trying to discredit Travelstart. I just want people booking a ticket through Travelstart using their Discovery miles to be aware of the additional cost.
Example: To book a ticket from Lanseria to Cape Town for 12 January at 17:30 will cost you R422 if you book on FlySafair's Website. If you book exactly the same ticket though Travelstart it shows a cost of R549. (Please make sure to look at your total cost on the right hand side of the screen as there are automatically added cost that you must sure you untick if you are not interested).
However if you choose the payment method paying with your "discovery miles" an additional "processing fee"' is charged of R79. (which you HAVE to pay).
Therefore - If you book your ticket directly on FlySafairs website - R422, and if you book exactly the same ticket trough Travelstart paying with your discovery miles the ticket will cost you R628 (50% more than directly from Flysafair). I want to suggest that you rather use your discovery miles on a Partner that gives you discount (like Takealot), than use a Partner that add additional cost just because you are paying with your discovery miles.
