Terrible flight booking service
I am having serious issues with travelstart. I booked a flight to Toronto, Canada with them a few weeks ago. I needed to cancel the flight due to covid restrictions. I could not get them to respond to email, and they don't have a direct phone line. Instead the have an automated whatsapp line that doesn't give you the option to cancel or adjust your flight times, and it doesn't respond in a timely manner. I want travelstart to provide me with a refund for me booking as the flight date has passed, but it is impossible to communicate with them.

Thanks for taking my call earlier and sorry for the struggle in trying to reach our team to do a date change to your flight booking.
No reference number was provided however I have searched using your details and located the following booking ending in: 8353
I see our team responded to your Whatsapp query asking for new dates for them to assist with the date change quote. As the agent did not receive a reply via whatsapp before ending the chat she asked that you use our online contact form and send through the new dates for the team too assist with a quote.
We have checked the booking system and inbox help @ travelstart . com and no further correspondence was received providing new dates of travel or to cancel the booking.
As discussed I have escalated this through to our refunds team who will be in contact via email.
They will need to first look at the airlines directives and will be in touch with a refund quote.
Please read through the quote and follow the prompts they provide should you wish to accept and proceed with the refund.
