Skywise booking Refunds
Dear Travelstart
Skywise booking Ref ZA***1
Please advise when your promise to refund bookings which were grounded under Skywise will be refunded. On 10 December you forwarded me an email informing me that we would be refunded within 4 to 6 weeks. It is two months down the line and no refund is forthcoming. I also question your poor business etiquette - emails by the dozen remain unanswered and call centre staff have been informed to just make excuses. All I receive from Travelstart are marketing emails to entice me to book again. Sorry never again.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond on this forum
My apologies for the delay in the refund being processed.
Due to the grounding of Skywise they have received an influx of refund requests from all points of sale that had dealings with them, including from direct clients.
This influx has resulted in a backlog in the refund process. Travelstart is therefore communicating with them on a weekly basis to get the list of refunds already processed so that we can pass this information on to our mutual clients.
I apologise for the delay but can assure you that Travelstart is doing everything in our power to escalate the refunds we sent through to Skywise to be processed.
One of our refunds team members will be in contact with you in the morning.
Kind regards,
