Poor Service from TravelStart

Travelstart has notified me that on booking that flight 3K 664M on 04JAN from KUL-SIN leaves earlier at 1115 on 04JAN. The problem is, on travel start booking reference ZA ********** 3 flight MH 1269 departs KUA on 04Jan19 at 1045 and arrives KUL on 04Jan19 at 1140, meaning that the connecting flight will leave before I arrive at KUL. All bookings through travelstart. The agent, Zandile, seems very unhelpful & states any changes on 3K 664M will be at my cost, although this was caused by the airline changing flight to Sing, and up to now, no indication of possible alternate flights. Pathetic service

Thank you for your feedback.

I understand your frustration but unfortunately, you have two separate bookings and different rules apply. The airline with the schedule change will only take responsibility for the sectors on that document for any other booking they will not be liable as per IATA rules. We as the agency have to obey the airline rules

If you need to make changes on reference ZA***3 change and penalty fees will be applicable.

Apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused as we have no control over the airline schedule changes or override the airline rules.

Original Booking (booking ZA03****71 )– 3K686 KUL-Sin 14h35-15h45 04JAN Airline changed by Airline- 3K 664 M 04JAN KUL-SIN 1 ********** , which does not align to connecting flight from KUA (booking ZA ********** 3). Replacement proposed 3K 688 04JAN KUL-SIN 2 ********** 04JAN This would mean a 9 hour stop at the airport. However, I notice flight 3K 686 departing at 14h35 still offers seats. I tried to book and noticed seats available for all three of us? The change in flight thus does not make sense

hi, no he did not, he provided options but not explained the above Also, responses are very delayed and different people dealing with it every time

Apologies he did, however second point must be addressed. He proposed option of flight cancellation but without details, cost refund etc
