Poor service
I had booked with travelstart for a flight from Durban to Johannesburg, had to cancel the flight due to unforeseen circumstances. I requested for a refund and the respond I got back from Travelstart.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback pertaining your reservation.
I apologize that the information provided was confusing , please allow me to clarify.
The airline Mango does not allow for any refunds as per the airlines rules of the ticket. What they allow are Date changes, Routing changes as well as changing the names of the traveler.
This can only be done via the mango website or call center , purely because they require payment in order to confirm these changes and we cannot provide payment on behalf of the passenger.
For this particular booking , the original departure was on the 20th December and the enquiry to cancel and get a refund was made on the 23rd December. This is after the original departure and therefore the airline marks the passenger as a no show and the ticket is forfeited.
The airline needs to be notified at least 24hours prior to the original departure for any changes to be actioned successfully.
We also advise on the tickets that get sent the following:
Hello Robbie,
Thank you for booking your flight with Travelstart. This is your E-Ticket, simply print or present this email information at check-in.
Please take a minute to verify all your details, especially the passenger names and travel dates. Once your ticket has been issued airline penalties may apply to make any changes or process any cancellations. For certain Low Cost Carriers (LCCs), tickets are non-refundable in case of cancellation. If any of the information you have supp**** is incorrect please contact us immediately.
I hope that this provides some clarity on the issue surrounding the refund of your ticket.
