Pleasant Surprise

I have never used a travel agent before, so I approached my first transaction with some skepticism.

On their website - www.travelstart.co.za - they offered a R650 free voucher for signing up for their newsletter. I signed up; why not - I had nothing to lose. When I captured the voucher code to complete my reservation, it returned an error "invalid code". I wasn't really surprised, the offer must have been a hoax. I finished my reservation - without the discount.

I decided to email them on their webmail under "Contact us" on the webpage. Most companies dont ever reply to their webmail so I didnt really expect a reply.

But to my pleasant surprise, the following day I received a call from Lindsay Goliath, and she promised to refund the voucher value to my credit card - a 10% discount!

Responding to the webmail was good in itself, getting the voucher value back was really great service. Thank you Travelstart and good job Lindsay!
