Pay extra for luggage

I was told that i have to pay extra for my luggage.<br> No where, in the process of purchasing my plane ticket, was it made clear to me that<br> this is an additional charge. One, such as myself, would assume that one could simply<br> take more than just carry on luggage with on a flight. Further more, I had to pay R250.00<br> as apposed to R150.00 for having to book-in and pay for my luggage at the airport and not online.<br> I was informed by Safair that this is a common occurrence when booking through your<br> website. Why has nothing been done to rectify this problem? <br> Also, from Safair, i was met with no compassion whatsoever, I was simply told that it must<br> be the first time I've flown with them and that this is how they opperate, they also told me<br> that they would not let me take my bag on board without paying for it, even though i made<br> it perfectly clear that the fault was not that of my own.
