Our flights booked through Travel Start have been a disaster from the start. We booked on Seychelles from Jhb to Hong Kong with one stop in Abu Dhabi and direct flights back. Immediately after we finalised our booking we were informed of a schedule change! We had to fly back via Seychelles. We were so accommodating that we booked a week in Seychelles to justify the extra stop. Now another schedule change with 3 stops on way back! Seychelles refuse to help. TS also unwilling to do anything and I struggle to get hold of them and hardly calls back when they promise to call. Never used TS and never ever book with Air Seychelles. In April a flight to India on Air Seychelles booked through TS was also cancelled. Unfortunately by that time we already booked our other flights as well.

As explained, the airline initially had a schedule change which resulted in the direct flight between Hong Kong and Johannesburg being cancelled. They then offered an alternative route via Seychelles. This route has subsequently been cancelled and they are now offering the route via Abu Dhabi and Seychelles.
As the flights are in December 2015, they have also offered a full refund of the original tickets should the new routing not be acceptable.
Our Ticket email advises our clients that airlines sometimes do schedule changes and we cannot be held liable for these. We always endeavor to inform our clients of these schedule changes as soon as they are advised.
I certainly understand your frustrations in this regard and can assure you that we will always advise our clients of the alternatives offered by the airline in question.
We are however still following up with the airline regarding the passenger that does not want to travel via the Seychelles and as soon as we have their response we will advise.
