Local flight change - Quote Madness

I am again struggling to communicate with your call Centre staff. I am purely asking for a earlier LOCAL flight from JHB to CPT on 28 November and now they quote me R18 996 per person. What madness. We were scheduled to flight out of JHB at 16:15, but want to change to the 13:40 flight.

Please can you call me again so I can explain in simple English.

The total cost for the change will be ZAR18,996.06 per person, this includes all change fees and any applicable difference in taxes and fare, as per the fare rules of your ticket. This quote is over and above the amount already paid for your ticket. The total amount charged for the fee can go up quite significantly if the fare you originally booked is not available on the new date you would like to travel as you then need to pay for the change fee as well as the difference in fare.
