GROSS DISAPPOINTMENT WITH TRAVELSTART ONLINE BOOKING SERVICE

On Saturday morning 31 July 2021, we booked and paid for a flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg Oliver Tambo with Travelstart for 05h55 on 20 August 2021. We received confirmation a few minutes later but the flight was booked for 17h55 on the same day. On Monday 02 August we contacted Travelstart ( only possible by Whatsapp chat ) but was told by the agent that the ticket was non refundable and Travelstart can only change the flight to 06h50 on 20 August , at an additional cost of R1,235, this meaning we will miss our connecting flight at OR Tambo. We had to book another flight with SAFAIR for 05h50 to arrive at OR Tambo in time for our connecting flight. We lost R2,850 due to the ******** negligence of the Travelstart booking agent and no help from the whatsapp chat agent . Grossly disappointing.
