DONT EVER USE TRAVELSTART

It is impossible to get response from Travelstart and their service is appalling. We had to suspend our flights from JHB to Zurich via Amsterdam on KLM last December due to the Omicron restrictions. We were told the flight is suspended for 18 months. When I tried to use the suspended flight I saw it’s only valid till September 2022.

I have been trying via every avenue to book the suspended flight for May this year, without any feedback or contact. I can’t make arrangements for Visas, or other bookings, because it’s impossible to book on Travelstart, get an agent on the line, or get any feedback.

They promise call back on WhatsApp, their website, Email, Messenger, Flapp app and their Cape Town or 087 numbers Connect and then just let’s you wait - it’s never answered. I held on for 25 minutes out of morbid curiosity, and gave up.

They already scored R8000 for a suspended flight of mine that eventually lapsed when lockdown was still in effect and by the looks of it the current flights of R 12500 are also going to lapse.
