Do not book with travelstart

I booked 7 flights for my family vacation in December to Thailand. My mums last name was changed by auto correct and unfortunately I did not notice (birthday and first names correct) I tried calling travelstart- you cannot speak to a person. You have to go through whatsapp or email. After 3 weeks of multiple emails and messages I have been told I need to cancel the current ticket and purchase a new one ( prices are obviously much higher than when I booked ) plus wait 12-18 weeks for a refund on the original ticket which is absolutely madness. They proceeded to blame it on Emirates. I called Emirates unfortunately the change has to be done by travel start but its basically just R500 and a quick fix. They also informed me that they refund within 14 days- Travelstart is trying to rip us off and keep our money for 10 weeks more. I would not advise anyone to use them. It was the biggest mistake I've made. They are turning our vacation into a stressful nightmare.
