Check Dates carefully on Travel start as the Website changes them automatically
Be very aware when booking anything on travelstart. I needed to book two flights to Cape Town and back from Thursday 9th August to 12th August 2018 due to an urgent business meeting in Cape Town.
I selected the dates and selected the flight options presented, paid for the tickets and recieved the various vouchers. On checking the tickets the dates had misteriously been changed to some aritrary dates in 2019. I immediately contacted Travel start who wipe their hands of this. I got my bank Standard Bank (who were a great help) to intervene and and some progress was made. Dispite commiting to refund some of the booking I am still out of pocket for a substantial sum. LESSON LEARNT: Travelstart has sneeky sofware which changes dates to make you believe you are getting cheap flights when in actual fact there this are for dates far in the future. BE Viligient to CHECK everything carefully as you may end up with cheap useless tickets. No explaination on how the dates were changed have been given. I will never use Travelstart again.

Regarding the date selection - we have sent you the logs of the booking showing the search request was for the dates in 2019 as booked and ticketed.
We were able to void the Kulula tickets as you contacted us on the same day and those funds will revert back to your credit card in full. From Travelstart's side, as a goodwill gesture, we have refunded all service fees and extras that were applicable to the full booking.
Unfortunately as Safair is a low cost carrier voiding of tickets is not possible and your options are to apply for a refund or change to the dates in August at the applicable fare .
As you have advised that you do not want to make the date change , please confirm if we should proceed to apply to Safair for a refund. We are however unable to guarantee the value of the refund.
