Change surname on Traveller... ZA***6

I've called up your booking and see  it was made: 25 March 2021 - 13:01:51   

We received your contact form this morning at:  21 April 21  06:02:51 Wed,  requesting a name change.

Our agent responded  21 April 21 09:22:27  with the following:

Thanks for contacting us regarding your name changes.

AIRLINK
Airlink allows to change the name on a ticket. This needs to be done with the airline direct and there are fees applicable which they will advise of at the time of the change being made. 

Passenger will need to e-mail the nearest Airlink ATO/CTO to request and complete the name change and retain the same booking class unless they require to change to a new flight and date subject to class availability and fare/tax difference.

You will need to send your request to *** and your ticket number:
*** (Airline ***) and a copy the passenger's ID's.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Airlink on *** Monday to Friday (closed on weekends).

SAFAIR
Flysafair is a low cost carrier and therefore we cannot assist with changes. 

In order to change, please note this must be done directly on the airlines website or through the call centre ***).

Kindly use the airline reference: ZIJYFN

NOTE: . All changes has to be done 24 hours before departure to avoid being a no-show and losing the entire ticket.

For any name changes to an Airlink and Fly Safair booking, both airlines permit this but the passenger needs to do changes directly with the airline. They will advise on the cost and assist in taken payment from their side.
