Cancellation

I booked a flight with travelstart for 2 people which amounted to R4200, I now would like to cancel the flight for the 3rd February and I am told I will only get a refund of 200

Can someone explain to me in which law is this permissible

As we do try to be customer centric and although there was a delay I do wish you would accept our apologies.

Kindly send us a private reply with your booking details consultant will be in contact with you to explain the refund process.

Again our most sincerest apologies Lethabo. Thank you once again for your comments.

Kind regards,

Good day Lethabo

Thank you for your feedback and for sending us your booking reference.

Please be advised that Travelstart operates as a third party and therefore, we need to adhere to the cancellation conditions as stipulated by each individual airline.

As per our terms and conditions https://www.travelstart.co.za/lp/terms-and-conditions :
" Note that all tickets carry different fare conditions as imposed by the relevant airline.
The ticket you are purchasing may only be partially or non-refundable. "

All this information is available to you on our website...www.travelstart.co.za

In addition, as we draw the most economical fares from the various airlines reservation systems, many of these fares are non-refundable.
Although I can understand your disappointment in this regard, we are unable to change the fare restrictions app**** by the airline.

I trust for your understanding in this regard.

Kind regards,
Melony at Travelstart
