CANCELED FLIGHT 1 DAY PRIOR

I got an email the day before my flight saying I'll be refunded. After calling around asking what refund it is I was told my flight has been canceled. The refund wil take up to 8 weeks. They don't give a 5#!7. Apperently they knew about the cancellation for a week and didn't notify me explicitly. I asked them if they could arrange something else. I won't mind paying the difference for a new ticket. But they just gave me a \f-you"response. Was delayed one day and had to buy a new ticket at double the price i original paid and had to pay their service fee again."""
