BUYER BEWARE

Boy was I wrong when I first posted how amazing this company was. My sincerest apologies to anyone who chose them based on my first review.

I booked a ticket for a US citizen. US citizens don’t need a visa to SA for the first 30 days. Yet their system started spamming me, insisting that I enter visa details. Their response? Refuse to address their system issue and palm me off to a visa company. Ok fine. I call the visa company. They confirm what I’d been telling the Travelstart office for THREE DAYS. THREE DAYS no response on the fact that their system is buggy.

Eventually I manage to get through to them on the phone. What do you think the woman I spoke to did when I told her about the system issue?? SHE TRIED TO PALM ME OFF TO THE VISA BUSINESS. Completely ignored what I was saying. I’ve come to the conclusion that reading and listening to clients are purely optional s****s in the Travelstart office. Anyway, I eventually got her to call the person I spoke to at the visa office and she comes back with “oh you dont need a visa”. She tells me the tickets have been issued and I should ignore the spam. It’s probably a system bug, she says. NO, REALLY??!?!!?!!!

I am literally still waiting for the woman to send me an email confirmation of our conversation. Completely blew me off. Absolutely disgusting. If I treated any of my clients like this, I’d be jobless in 30 seconds.
