Book through the airline directly! Travelstart will charge you again AFTER paying for flexibility
I booked a flight on Travelstart, and paid the extra R778 fee to make changes to my flights. I just attempted to make a change and I was told to pay an extra R350 after making an original payment of over R8200. Travelstart is a money making **** which I was advised against but when against my gut feeling. Rather book through the airline directly and it's cheaper

Thank you for your feedback and allowing us the opportunity to address your concerns.
I have had a look into your booking and would like to clarify a few points.
When making the booking you selected to purchase the flexi ticket option, which covers one waiver of the penalty and Admin Fee charged when changing your booking. You did changes to your booking on the 02nd November and because you were travelling on Mango payment needed to be made upfront and we refund the penalty and admin Fee.
The total amount that was charged for this changes was R580.00 , which we refunded in full back to the card on the same day the changes were made.
The flexi only covered one penalty fee and admin Fee when making changes, so any subsequent changes would be charged at normal rate.
The fees charge when making changes are that of the airline, Travelstart only charges R99.00 admin fee if no flexi product is purchased.
I do hope that this provides some clarity on the matter.
