Appaling service with flexible tickets

I bought a flexible ticket through Travelstart which means I get 1 'free' change on the tickets I purchased. After countless emails going back to the 17th May 2017 to change the date of travel, I have received 2 emails overcharging me, I spent 3 hours on the phone yesterday trying to resolve this. I spoke to two Tracey's and one Stacey - all of whom were reluctant to put me through to a customer services manager. When I finally did get put through to the supervisor (also Tracey), she also initially tried to overcharge me, telling me that although it stated on my email that the amount was for all passengers, it was actually for each passenger! Finally she was able to rectify the issue. She sent me an invoice for the change in fare and tax and told me that as soon as I made payment, I would be issued with my new e-ticket. I immediately tranferred and emailed the proof of payment at 4pm yesterday. In my email I asked them to please issue me with my new e-ticket. I have sent 2 further emails and I have still heard NOTHING! not even a response to tell me why there is a delay.

It is shocking that I have had to fight for something I already paid for! If you are reading this review, I suggest you steer clear of Travelstart. It is worth paying the extra money somewhere else. The time and effort I have had to put in on a business day and the stress of having to argue with customer services and try to escalate this concern is unreasonable. Not to mention the charges that are completely ******** and *********!

When I spoke to the supervisor Tracey to explain what I have had to do just to get her to give me the correct cost for the date change and how long it took me to ammend the tickets, she apologised and in the same breath told me I must pay the money today or I will lose the fare! Gone are the days where, if you rightly and reasonably had a legitimate concern, that customer services would offer you some kind of compensation to keep you as a customer. This is the third and final time I will be using Travelstart. Shocked and horrified at the level of service from their customer services and amendments team.

Hi Genevieve, I am sorry that you have gone through this experience. I have checked with the relevant teams, and can see your booking is pending investigation.

I have followed up with the Team Leaders and we have been trying to contact you during the course of the day.

Please can you provide us with a different contact number as we would like to conclude the investigation and provide you with proper feedback, as we aim to provide all customers with nothing but the best service.

Kind Regards,

Melissa

I have not changed my contact details and have received no email from any of your team. As I explained, I am in London in the UK. I am happy for you to call me, but I think it is best to email so I have written confirmation of what is going on. Why have I not received my e-ticket?

My father is an attorney, and if I do not have the tickets by the end of today we will start legal action. He has explained that what you are doing is ********. You have the money forthe cost of the change. Please issue me, my husband and my daughter our tickets!
