Airfare swindle

We made a reservation for a return trip from OR Tambo to Cape Town return. The price was R819 one way, or R 2364 with all the extras. This was done on 28 November 2023. This amount was paid on 29 November 2023

On 29 November 2023 we received an email stating that the payment was unsuccessful. Upon telephonic enquiry it panned out that the prices had gone up during the night with R 939, which caused the " unsuccessful" payment.

When we were told of the " unsuccessful" payment we immediately paid the R939, ans sent proof of payment, both via the bank and a photograph. We were told that proof of payment was only accepted with immediate payments.

On 30 November I called their centre. I was told that the money did not reflect in their statements. I retorted that it was a Standard to Standard payment, and that it should reflect immediately.

On the same day we received an email stating that the payment was unsuccessful. When I phoned I were given lots of **** about time to reflect etc .

I gave them 10 minutes to sort out their issues and confirm the booking. It is now an hour later with nothing.

My suspicion is that bookings are delayed for bigger profits. Our booking should go through at the tendered price of R819, and not the artificial price of R3303 .
