Most unvalueble and unreliable medical aid
My mom a member for over 20 years have never been in hospital since joining, maybe saw a dr 5 times and only uses the medical aid for her contact lenses and glasses. She is on the highest plan and now that she needs to have her teeth pulled you say: \NO

Transmed's Care Managers have again reviewed the request for authorisation for in-theatre dental extractions. The outcome unfortunately remains unchanged as no exceptional clinical merit exist that contra-indicates the procedure being performed in-rooms. Your dentist has been requested to discuss treatment plan options and implicated costs with you prior to commencing treatment.
