Took two buses in the space of 24 hours. Each of them was a minimum of 2 hours late.

My husband and I booked two sets of bus tickets:

1. Two City To City bus tickets from PE to George at 7:30am - bus was delayed, and we were placed on a Translux bus at 9:30. At least they had the decency to call us at 6:30am to advise us of the delay.

2. Two Translux bus tickets from George to Cape Town at 2:15am - bus had still not arrived by 4:00am, leaving us stranded outside the George Station in the dark (not safe). Eventually, we asked the next bus we saw (City To City) if we could jump in with them instead of waiting for a bus that might not show up. The bus driver had a no-care attitude, chucked our stuff in the bus, and proceeded to pump his reggae music while driving like a maniac.
