Payment for my lost bags

A three weeks back I climed a city to city bus from Pretoria to polokwane but before I climed the bus I was told to put my bags in the boot then when I got to polokwane my bags where no were to be found and they blamed me for everything and now they don't reply my emails or calls..I'm not happy at all i should have taken a taxi instead
