Manner in which driver spoke to me
I travelled with my 2 kids on Sunday 30/08/15 from Cape Town to Kimberley on the 18h00 bus going to Joburg, Service nr 1102. Due to an accident on Mew way on the N2 incoming we arrived at the bus terminal at 17h55. Myself and my cousin ran to have my bags checked in. I turned around to get my kids who was still coming on with their Granny. I then realised that the bus was leaving and had to run and signal for the driver to stop. He showed me his wrist and upon opening the door asked me \What time do you think it is?' I rep**** 18h05. He said 'and then? Why are you late? Other people want to leave on time' He did not give me a chance to explain. I told him not to be rude. Thankfully he let us in. After the hostess checked us in and showed us our seats I checked my phone and it was actually only 18h03. I am not blind to the fact that we were late. What I am upset about is the way in which the driver spoke to me. He made me feel as like I was not a paying customer."

On behalf of Autopax, I would like to apologise for the drivers behaviour towards you and your family. Autopax is opposed to any form of abusive behaviour by any of our staff members. The matter has been escalated to our Depot Manager for investigation.
Please note that it is stated on our conditions of Carriage that a passenger should be at the departure time at least 30 minutes prior to departure time in order to complete all boarding formalities and that the coach cannot be delayed for passengers as this would be inconveniencing the other passengers whom have already boarded the coach in the 30 minutes prior to departure. The bus driver must adhere to his schedule as advertised by the company or the would be running late the whole journey and arrive late at this destination.
