<p>I booked 2 tickets from Cape Town to P.E. via Checkers for City to City, for my son and my nephew. </p> <p>They were scheduled to leave at 06H00 on Sunday morning from Cape Town bus terminal. We arrived at 05H05, walked in, no security to advise where we should wait for bus, the car guards advised us where to wait. Bus was supposed to arrive at 05H30... No bus, kiosk closed. At 06H00, no bus... Tried calling the call centre, no answer; tried calling the number on-line, no answer. Their website doesn't work. So no way to get in contact with anybody... Like really??</p> <p>Eventually at 07H00 the kiosk "opened" we approached the lady who advised the bus was delayed due to it failing the safety check. Now, please explain to me City to City why you have busses in your fleet which fail safety checks on the morning it's supposed to transport people? Surely these checks should have been done the night before! Not only was the bus delayed, but there was no clear communication from City to City to advise passengers of the delay. Now I am aware that the cost is much less than flying, but still you are offering a service here and peoples livelihoods are at stake.</p> <p>The bus arrived at 09H00, a full 3 hours late, with bus drivers with attitudes and rushing people to get their luggage sorted without a clear instruction of what is happening... We were NOT happy with the condition of the bus at all, and I had to be in contact with my son all the time to find out where they were etc.</p> <p>The bus was not clean, it wasn't disgustingly dirty, but not clean... under the seats were passengers who were along for the joy ride... Some passengers who call the bus their home - ****roaches...</p> <p>I understand this is a norm; as their all different people travelling at any given time, but at least fumigate your busses!!</p> <p> </p> <p>My experience with City to City was ********** to say the least... I will NEVER use their services again. </p> <p> </p> <p>I also appeal to anyone else who maybe be considering them to boycot them just like Roadlink.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
