From stems to trees - Translux lost out on the opportunity to be of service South Africa

Thanks to the lady @ ********** 209 who eventually put me through to the customer department, to talk to a lady called Eve, after trying there new customer numbers that allows you to press 1 and talk to a lady at reservation, but once u press 2 for customer complaints the phone gets cut off. What a service dialing and wasting your hard earned airtime.

Can we please get a policy from Translux, because Eve spoke boldly about this policy that prohibit me from sending 5 x 500mm tree stems packed in a carry bag, to be carried with a passenger today from Durban to Cape Town, on their bus that left at 10:30AM.

This is the only prohibited items as per their web page (Strictly prohibited from carriage are animals, reptiles, harmful chemicals, explosives or toxic substances).

Maybe we should also sent a copy and a print screen to Eve, to up her service game at Translux for the future.

Now this Eve, sitting in Jo'burg wants me to drive from Richards Bay to Durban to go and fetch my 5 x 500mm tree stems.

I spend money to get hold of 4 x banana stems and 1 x Macedonians nuts for friends and family staying in Saldanha Bay.

Translux should refund me for the stems (R500) and they need to transport my stems from Richards Bay to Saldanha Bay on their account.

Kind Regards

Jonathan M. Syster
